Hey, I'm Joey. I am a performer, a writer, an observer, and lots of other nouns. The most important noun to describe me though, the one that sums up who I am best, is a Christian; an adopted and cherished Daughter of God.

WAIT, don't go!

This blog is a place where I explore, reflect, and shed light on what it means to have a relationship with God the Father through His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. Perhaps it will also be a safe place where you can discover what this means for you too, as you consider His love for you. In a world full of denominations and a culture engulfed in manmade and self-centered doctrines, I, like you, want to keep things clear -- and this means making truth and the defense of truth my top priority, as it is revealed to us in Scripture. I hope to expound more on this here - with some other (hopefully) good stuff mixed in too.

I would describe my faith not in terms of an organized religion, but a relationship with Jesus that I choose to abide in daily. A relationship that informs every aspect of my life, 24/7 - not just for a chunk of my morning on Sunday. Keep an open mind and heart--because I promise you, once you experience His love, you'll discover there is nothing else in this world that you need.
